Whenever I’m feeling some strong emotion (which has been a lot lately) a song will pop into my head that is perfectly related to my situation or what I’m feeling or thinking at the time. I just had my first day of research at a hospital camp that pairs up autism spectrum disordered children with regular developing children. Oh, my god, it was so awesome. It’s more like applied research so it’s actually a lot of fun, because you interact with one pair and record different data. It’s studying how effective the peer relations are at improving ASD children’s social skills. After we took data we just surveyed the kids and interacted with them.
